Calling back

Kumo walked along the grounds of their previous battle, she began to suck the electricity of the fallen yeti who haven't died. She eventually filled herself and her body re-healed, but the toll on her mind was still the same. She looked around when sudden pounding in her head emerged. She fell to the ground, grabbing onto her head with pain. She looked up to see a man wearing white hooded trench coat. Kumo recognized the man, he was one of the other experiments.

"Hello there Kumo" The man hissed

"What are you doing here Alken?" Kumo grunted past the pain in her head.

"I have come to recruit you for ssssomething"

"For what? I thought we went different ways after we escaped" Kumo asked

"Me and the otherssss have banded together to attack WH" Alken explained

"Why?"

"They killed Trisha" Alken answered

"What for?"

"They killed her, becausssse they thought she wasss a dangeroussss witch"

"Well I am working for WH right now, I even completed a mission"

"Yessss I know all about that" Alken interrupted "I jusssst want you to join ussss, leave WH and come back and help ussss"

"I don't want any part in your war Alken" Kumo rejected

"Don't make me ussse my powerssss" Alked threatened

"Don't try it Alken, we know that your powers have no affect on me"

"Oh really?" Alken questioned

Alken burst off in amazing speed, Kumo had never seen him move so fast before. Kumo used Kirin mode to chase after him. Kumo was amazed at the speed Alken moved at now, he was obviously stronger than before. Kumo fired bolts of electricity at Alken, who dodged the attacks with ease. He came close to Kumo and called forth his salt strings. Kumo created two chainswords in order to combat him. The strings expanded and sliced through the trees around them, and found their way at Kumo. Kumo used her chainswords to block the attack and the two strikes hit each other. Neither was going to give way, both were slicing at each other by vibrating the air, Alken then locked eyes with Kumo. Kumo tried to look away with no avail, she was immediately paralyzed by Alken's gaze. Kumo ceased her movements, unable to move her body, like a mouse caught by a snake. She looked at her fellow experiment, with fear and rage mixed in her eyes, Alken was definitley stronger than before, Kumo never was held in his gaze for this long.

"I figured you would be ssssurprisssed" Alken grinned "I have become much stronger, my body healsss fassster than mossst humansss, ssso I dabbled in sssome experimentssss with my powerssss and gained new power from it"

"Ok so you have me now, doesn't mean I will join you" Kumo retaliated "No matter what torture you put me through, you will never make me join you"

"Oh but I have another solution Kumo, something more... practical" Alken said confidently, he pulled out a small collar, similar to a choker, except made out of pure metal. "Thisss isss it, a way to make you more passsssive"

"What mind control? that will never work on me remember? That is the reason we escaped" Kumo said

"Oh I remember fully, but I remember that it was because of your electric signals being messed up, this will fix that" Alken said as he put the collar on Kumo's neck, he let go of his gaze on Kumo.

"Well see, it didn't work, now let's finish this... Ahh!!" Kumo winced in pain as her own chainswords cut her hands, they fell to the ground and disapated "What the hell?"

"That collar wasss made jussst for you" Alken explained "It sssucksss in all of your powersss and sssealsss them, and the only way to get them back isss to take it off, but I have the only key"

"That isn't fair you little shit, how am I supposed to even fight against you or even with you with this thing on?" Kumo complained

"Do not worry, I only need it long enough to do this" Alken said as he burst at Kumo and grabbed her head, Kumo tried to pull off the hand, but it wouldn't let go, Alken was too strong. Kumo began to thrash and strike at Alken, who was unaffected by her attempts. She continued to struggle around. Kumo felt her mind becoming breached, mental attacks coming into it, she resisted at first, but she soon began to forget why she needed to resist, she forgot why she was struggling to get away, she was thinking why she was striking her master. Alken noticed as the flare and glow in Kumo's eyes disappear and become replaced with a faded glassy look and she ceased struggling. Alken didn't want it to come to this, but he needed Kumo. Alken dropped Kumo, who fell on he knees, her head hanging, arms loose at her side. He pulled out a taser and zapped her with it, she didn't even react in the slightest.

"I realized Kumo that I control Natrium, I can control a human'sss perception and nociception, even thought is under my control" Alken explained to Kumo, whose mind was blank and wasn't truly listening to the explanation. "I only need the collar long enough to give me a way to reach your brain"

Kumo was still hunched over in a penitent position, she would do whatever her master asked of her, even if it meant her death. She was completely submissive.

"Kumo" Alken said firmly, Kumo reacted by looking at him with her blank look. Alken unlocked the collar and placed it in his pocket. He used his tazer again and charged her up with electricity "I want you to kill everyone in Garuga, leave no one left alone, no man, woman or child, everyone including your partner"

"Yes Master" Kumo obeyed

"Put this on as your faith in our cause, you must where this and nothing else" Alken said as he handed out a white hooded trench coat

"Understood" Kumo said as she took off her clothes and wore the trench coat and wore the hood over her head.

"I didn't mean..." Alken said franticly, but there was nothing he could do anymore, she had been given a command and he couldn't retract it, a major flaw in his power, he had to be careful with how he worded his commands, otherwise the effects could prove hazardous. Another thing was that his power only controlled one person at a time, but in exchange he had complete and utter obedience from his victim. "Now go, fulfill your mission, but if you are injured too greatly, return to me, do this right, don't use powerful attacks unless you need to, don't waste your energy"

"As you wish Master" Kumo said as she stood up and moved towards Garuga. Kumo knew her mission and was going to finish it, she was going to slaughter anything she saw. Kumo arrived at the front gate and was greeted by guards. She immediately ripped them apart with her swords, she began to walk through the city, firing bolts of electricity at anyone in sight, sucking away the life of any who survived her initial attack. She soon came to the inn, she was greeted with hellos, but soon there was nothing but screams in her wake, she did her command without thought or emotion. She eventually slaughtered 1/4 of the entire population of Garuga, her robe becoming stained with blood, then slicking off like rain. A soldier that was able to escape ran to where Leneor was last seen, despite his gaping wounds he was able to reach the WH before collapsing to the ground from blood loss.

"...Mr. Leneor...please...help...Garug...under...attac...Ugh!!!" The soldier coughed blood through his dying speech"...The...people...massacred...help us...please!"

(Mana +120 Health +300)

the soldier collapsed right after. Leneor slowly took Nero from his shoulder, leaning him against a close standing tree, he smiled as he murmured something along the lines of 'sorry, bud, but your return's gonna be delayed.'

He pulled some snow over him and then grabbed his radio. while rushing along the white plains he spoke into his radio, he didnt even wait for response.
"Hey,northern Headquaters, i need backup in garuga, the town is currently being slaughtered by some entity, and my Partner is curently missing. I have one severly wounded Witchhunter along with me, whom i put down further away from Garuga. I'll try saving as many people as somewhat possible, but i need backup, you got that? send anything you got spare." he returned the radio back into one of his bags.

What he found at the village was nerve-wracking, dead people with nasty burns that only could descend from electricity, partially destroyed houses. And in the middle of it Kumo. Leneor noticed the collar, but of what matter was it realy - wether she wanted it or did not: she would have to be taken care of.

"I guess you're being controlled,I pity you. I'm not sure if you can hear this or not, but if possible i will dispose of you right here, sinner."
Leneor shortly closed his eyes. yeah, right...thats why I hate making friends. he opened them again and took out his Kard and sword, his face somewhat emotionless.

Kumo looked to see Leneor standing in front of her. She looked at him with her blank stare, brandishing her chainswords.

"Master wants you dead, I will do as Master commands" Kumo announced monotone

Kumo summoned iron sand from the ground and began to have it strike in shapes and spikes. She fired off several spikes of iron sand at Leneor. She then ran towards Leneor and jumped to strike him from above, she was shot in the shoulder mid air by an longbow archer. Kumo rolled along the ground until she met a wall, crashing into it.

"Hah take that you bitch" The archer called out

Kumo stood up and looked at her shoulder, then looked at the man, the arrow in her shoulder didn't even make her flinch and she pulled it out as if she was just a piece of grass stuck to her.

"What the hell?" The archer gasped

"Master says that no one is to survive" Kumo announced again

Kumo charged the arrow with electricity, the arrow shot at the archer and blasted right through his head. She looked again at Leneor with her blank stare, reinitializing her original objective.

"Master wants you dead, I will do as Master commands" Kumo announced again

Kumo burst off again, but this time charging straight for Leneor and striking him head on.

(-10 Mana -10 Health +20)

He sidestepped the projectiles, as Kumo had finaly come into the proper reach though, a longbowman intervened, by attacking her. He did not fire more thanone arrow, the same that pierced his own head.

"YOU GUYS LISTEN, I WILL FIGHT AND YOU GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE NORTHWARDS, YOU SHOULD MEET UP WITH MULTIPLE HUNTERS. EVACUATE NOW." with this call Leneor fully entered the fight, charging at kumo and going with multiple graceful strikes of Ashantir against her. He could not waste Mana, he had to knock her out in one blow, otherwise she would surely flee or go all out. depending on that 'masters' orders.

(regeneration: + 50 HP, + 34 Mana)

Kumo dodge the blows and jumped out of range. She dematerialized her chainswords and fired off several Hammers, they flew in random directions all over the area, then split apart into smaller rockets. Kumo fired several bolts of electricity at Leneor and guided the Hammers to him.

"Master says to not waste energy, if I kill you I won't waste it" Kumo reasoned with herself

Kumo picked up a piece of metal and aimed it, she fired a railgun shot at Leneor and then didn't waste time to strike again with extended chainswords.

(-120 Mana)

Leneor tried dodging the hammers, yet one of them still managed to pound into his gut, without hesitation he fled from the downpour of attacks. But no avail, he got struck by a beam of energy that went right through his left shoulder, the pain in his arm made him let go of his Kard

"i only need one arm anyway..." he murmured as he duck down from the extended chainsaws that almost snapped him in half.
He charged right again, closing in on Kumo once again. I need to land a blow... he hightened the air pressure to hold kumo in place, [zeitfrost] and close in to one meter distance. "[zerschmetterer] !"



(damage taken: - 170 HP [zerschmetterer]- 45 Mana, [zeitfrost]- 14 Mana)

Kumo was unable to move, and was struck hard by the attack. She was sent rolling across the ground and sprawled across the floor. Kumo stood up and continued to look emotionless at her broken arm and shoulder, she snapped them back into place. She was suddenly surrounded by a lighter electric glow.

"Oniichan!!" Uma cried out, battling the control of Alken "Oniichan please help me!"

Uma struggled to keep control but Kumo prevailed and reemerged. Kumo began to glow with energy, her swords disappeared as she activated her Kirin transformation. She struck at Leneor at an amazing burst of speed, aiming straight for his chest.

(-70 health - 80 mana)

all he could muster was changing the spot that the blow would go to. the attack landed once again on his left shoulder - a soar of pain going through it, but that was the chance he had waited for. That voice earlier had been Uma, trying to regain the control, but it was nothing he could expect from her during a strong controlspell like this.

"I'm sorry, but.. this...is the end." leneor announced in a sharp tone. No regret to be allowed now.
thanks to Kumo's attack she was too close to do much realy, and the very least escape this.
[Faustorkan] he punched Kumo into mid-air. [Zeitenhammer] suddenly everything stopped again, but this time the binding was stronger than just some little air pressure. He rushed right into the air, standing on a makeshift plateau in front of Kumo - he rained several blows at Kumo, none made a sound or showed a true sign of hitting, but the moment he would have executed the attack...

"altered style- [zerschmetterer] shatter!" he shattered the whole constuct adding more damage. Nevertheless, he had to kill her right away, right on the spot. He landed just before Kumo was released from the binding.

"AER SOPH...."

[techs: -20 Mana, -90Mana -45 Mana - 125 Mana - 130 Health]

Kumo was struck by blow after blow and was still getting attacked. She continuously got trapped and then was rammed into another attack combination. She was able to block most of them to lessen the damage done but she was unable to think past basic attacking. She was trapped in the air again and struck, but soon noticed the finisher coming from Leneor. Kumo suddenly felt a power surging over her. A pure black electric aura surrounded her. A powerful force took over, Kirin took over. Sensing Kumo was in danger she moved forward to face him. Kirin was unable to move as good due to the resisting of control, but she was still able to form a counter attack. Kirin summoned down a lightning strike into her hand and condensed the lightning, she took the condensed lightning and motioned it in her hand straight for Leneor.

"ORYUU RAITEN YARI" Kirin roared as she struck

(Health -90 Mana -150)

"...AUR!" Leneor yelled out and released a small tornado of blading
winds right upwards at Kumo. That strike would kill him if it met, but
there were two advantages that he had: the first one was that his
attack would reach over a greater distance and even pushed the enemy
back, and the second was that lightening would travel along the easiest
route, and this volley of wind put up enough resistance to not be hit
by stray energy - only if her fist were to connect with him this would
end badly.

But he payed a price for the strength he put into that attack. Aer soph
aur had gained almost x2,5 of its original strength, but it consumed
his own Health to do so.
However, despite the strength in his attack, Kumo was getting closer to
him as the energy forced itself slowly through the volley of cutting
wind.

Shortly before his technique ended something took possession of his arm
and forced the last ounce of the attack onto the ground, flailing
Leneor away.

Kirin ripped through the slashes of air, she too was getting hit by the attack. Before she was able to reach Leneor, he flung himself away and she smashed the ground with her attack. Kirin pulled her arm out of the massive hole, and looked at Leneor.

"Impressive human" Kirin said in a sort of demonic version of Kumo's voice "Thank you for trying to kill Kumo, if you didn't I wouldn't have been able to regain control"

Kirin ripped off the collar, she removed the robe and materialized herself with the same clothes as before.

"That troublesome rat will face my wrath when I am finished with him" Kirin picked up a number of injured villagers and sucked away their lifeforce. She used it to replenish herself and revitalize.

She let the dark aura take her over as she unleashed her true power.

"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Kirin roared "Let's see what you have against me human, Kumo couldn't fight because of her condition, so I shall take her place"

(Health +120 -200 Mana +240)

Sora dropped down on Tokunaga's back and landed in between the two warriors. Sora turned to face Kirin.

"I think that it is time for me to step in" Sora announced "Don't you think so Tokunaga?"

"I totally agree Sora" Tokunaga grinned

"Hello Leneor we are your reinforcements that you called" Sora said

Sora dropped down from Tokunaga's back and Tokunaga turned himself into his smaller version and wore him like a backpack. She summoned up a barrier to help protect herself from attacks and she condensed it to make a more powerful layer. She then began to chant.

"O' gathering flames of darkness, treat our dear guests to the strains of your terrible song, Bloody Howling!" Sora summoned a powerful stream of purple and pink fire energy from her hand and fired it at Kirin.

(Mana - 58)

"nice to hear that. I'll help you out when i can, sadly i'm kind of ..." a sudden urge of pain stopped him right within the sentence. he clutched to his chest.

Dammit... this doesn't feel good at all...

His hearing was beeing swallowed by an irregular thumping sound, and his limps fell as if they had frozen - no, it was rather like he suddenly had dead pieces of flesh joined up at his torso, he didn't even notice properly as his legs gave away and he fell on his knees.
Ofcourse, idiot, the doctor himself said i should not push through that much Mana at once... Damn, I'm just an artificial Mana user after all - DAMMIT. Even my breathing is going irregular, i have to drop out of this one...

"I-I'm fine, just g-give me a few minutes to rec-calm mys-self" his voice was slightly deranged.

Kirin wasn't expecting the attack, but was able to react in time, she summoned a Polaris but the force of the attack was too great for her to hold her barrier and was sent flying. She smashed into a building and was burned badly from the attack. She picked herself off the ground and let loose several Hammers and fired them straight for Sora, then sent a wicked looking electric attack.

(Mana-80 Health -70)

Sora had Tokunaga strike the Hammers before they reached her, but one managed to strike her and then she was struck by a powerful electrical attack. She winced in pain and thanked that her barrier had taken most of the damage. Tokunaga expanded and returned to large size.

"Sora, looks like I have to join in this fight"

"Looks that way"

Sora decided that she should force her opponent to move into a favorable position.

"Tetra Spell"

Sora let loose several spells, she summoned Fireballs, Wind Blades, Stone Blasts and Demon's Lance. They all guided her and moved her into a single spot.

"O' destructive pressure, Ruinous Drive!"

Sora summoned a massive magical circle under Kirin, which sent down a crushing amount of gravity and pressure upon those who are caught in it.

(- 120 Mana -40 Health +70 Mana)

Kirin dodged the spells with ease, darting out of the way and gaining ground. She thought something was off, the girl was capable of more power than this. She was being attacked by rather weak spells and they were easily evaded, she knew something was wrong. She began to noticed that she was being guided, into a single spot. Kirin realised that it was dangerous and jumped to get away, but it was too late, she was caught within the circle of her enemies trap and was crushed by an enormous amount of force. She was pounded onto the ground and the force continued to build. Kirin had no choice, she activated Kirin mode. She rose past the pressure, becoming less affected by weight. She clapped her hands together and formed a spear made of lighting.

"I can't hold back on you girl" Kirin spoke "It is time you face my ultimate technique"

She readied the spear and prepared to throw.

"Lanza Del Relampago"

Kirin threw the spear straight for Sora.

(Health -190 Mana -300)

Sora summoned two more barriers to protect herself from the attack. The lance ripped through the first barrier and broke through the second one. The lance pierced through the third barrier and made impact with Sora's personal shield. She was sent flying through the ruined buildings and landed in another part of town. Sora knew she had no other choice, this woman was no ordinary person. Sora had Tokunaga bring her back to the battle field.

"Heh, looks like I can't hold back on you either" Sora grinned "That last attack must have taken it's toll on you"

"Obey the ancient pact of the ages and fulfill your duty, Fimbulvetr"

Sora summoned large icicles that formed along the ground, the air around the area went far below freezing temperatures, far beyond any capable naturally on earth. The large spikes surrounded then filled the area around Kirin, then at the same time, they all exploded, letting down a massive amounts of ice shards and freezing water.

"Fimbulvetr: The great winter, kind of fitting don't you think?"

(Mana-350 Health - 90)

Kirin was struck hard by the amazing force, and she was littered by the freezing water and ice shards. She was cut and frozen and was left numb and bled out on the floor. She was being healed, but her mind was unable to take the pain anymore.

"Stop, I yield" Kirin called out "It is over for me, I cannot fight anymore, do what you wish"

Kirin fell unconcious, she was unable to bear the pain. But before there could be anything done for Kumo, Alken appeared, seemingly from nowhere.

"Hmm Kirin is a lot ssstronger than I thought, I'll fixsss that sssoon enough" Alken said to himself, then he looked towards the WH. "Do not think thisss isss over WH, we will kill you, Kumo will be ssstronger than before, and I guarantee there is no sssaving her"

Alken placed another collar on Kumo's neck and then carried her off, cradling her in his arms.

"Do not try to ssstop me, She belongsss with usss"

(-100 health + 20 health 30 mana)

Leneor crept out of his hiding place between the rubble. He still held onto his chest, even though most of the pain had subsided - he shook his head as Kumo was dragged away by a guy with an odd slithering tone of speech.
He looked at Sora, he shortly bowed in an attempt to show gratitude, his face looked worn.

"I'll check upon the injured and unconcious people, thanks for your help - i would have probably been a goner without you." he gave a smile and turned around. "Damn, whats with me" he whispered, looking at his shaking hand.

lack of strength... at times this stuff can realy drag you down. yes, this is the reason why making friends doesn't work out anyways...

I'm fine Äeon, just a little sullen.

"I'll be checking on the Witchhunter i found some time ago, i hid him a little further away so he wouldn't get caught up in the fight. I'll be back right away." he said almost in a cheerful voice towards Sora, running off to where he had put Nero down.
