Escaping Custody.

It had been a few years since the downfall of Khantis and the entire battle was a complete massacre. They simply overpowered the military, many good men and women died in that battle, more importantly, women that Arkrius never had a chance to sleep with. Luckily enough the queen and the assassin's were able to escape, but, they've all been in hiding ever since. News had it that Arkrius had died during the battle, but, it was all wrong. He survived though being one of the heavily injured and as playing dead among the dead bodies that were in the courtyard.

Years had pasted and Arkrius was hiding in the forest of Annuo and was breathing heavily. Despite being a few years since the battle at Khantis, the Witch Hunters were still after him and had recently found him due to a witch being in the forest. His luck being on it's neartime low and they had found him by mere chance.

"Damn it..." Arkrius growled as he looked around as he gripped his gun tightly with his hand. He pointed his gun into the sky and fired a shot into the air, using "Rain", bringing down artillery down from the sky. A quiet sigh left his mouth before he quickly broke out into a sprint. It was a do or die moment, he needed to get rid of the heat behind him and the only way he thought was to make some noise and to lure them into an artillery field.

Explosions covered behind him and the raw force propelled Arkrius a good few feet in front of him and he fell, rolling around on the ground, down a hill. There were multiple witch hunters still chasing him and he quickly fired accurate shots at them, quickly downing them before quickly standing up and reloading his gun. "Good, these witch hunters are nothing. They need much more then this to take me down." A quiet sigh of relief left his mouth as he slowly stood.

Little did he know that he was going to be hit. He was impaled by multiple weapons, however, it wasn't the witch hunters work. It was merely the forest's magic. It was playing the "finishing" blow to Arkrius at the attack on Khantis. The selfless move he took for the queen and the other assassin's to make them escape. The entire attack took damaged Arkrius quite a bit, making him bleed significantly. He slowly came back onto his feet and quickly moved as fast he could despite his injuries. It was nothing to him considering how many times he knocked on death's door and was possibly going to be many more times till he actually dies.

...gotta escape the forest...but where can I go? Arkrius thought to himself before simply deciding to head to town first and get himself fixed.
