A butterfly message (3)

Luthien had pushed Leneor towards a small restaurant in the lower quaters of Toron, he had expected her to take one of the lesser visited parts of the city, though he was surprised to find a rather decent one. It was a little smoky, and the light was very dim, and thanks to its position not even the moonlight would reach the spot. It was the same on the inside, but he just got pushed to one corner by luthien.

They sat there in silence for a couple of minutes, untill the owner - if it were a bit brigther in the room leneor could have made out how he looked - showed up and took their orders. Leneor just ordered a hot tea, Luthien shook her head as she was asked wether she wanted something.

"now what is it?" Leneor asked as he recieved his cup.

Luthien looked down, she was fidgeting with stuff she held in her hands.

"You know... Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to do something for someone, but felt like you would regret doing so, even though he would appreciate it?" Luthien suddenly asked.
"Not sure, but i guess i never realy thought about something like that."
"Leneor. I asked you something earlier today, you remember?"
"Yeah, reffering to my goal."
"Yes... what...what if..." She stopped mit sentence, seemingly at loss of words.

Leneor waited, Luthien was refering to the witch he longed for to kill, it seemed like she-

"They found her location. It is east to asgard, below a magic barrier to veil its position."

Luthien looked down onto the table, she was fighting with tears. She liked Leneor, he had saved her, and he treated her nicely on every instance. She selfishly wanted him to stay, on the other hand she wanted him to achieve his goal and help him in any way possible.

"Thank you." Leneors answer was cold. Luthien kept silent, this conversation was over. He just stood up, dropped some money on the table and exited the place, leaving Luthien sitting there alone. she had reached for his cup and held it close to herself now, taking a sip out of it. A tear dripped down into the cup, making an echo to go through the room.
