30 year old Beer

Vivi wasted no time in making herself welcome and went for the drawer in the back. The back was neatly in placed, nothing had happend there, only a few empty broken covered the floor as she inhaled the sweet heavy smell of alchohol. 30 year old beer here I come. Somewhere within the corners was where the drawer was hiddden, inside it was the key needed to get the rarest of all boozes. Like all good things, it'll be hard to find. She walked to every corner she saw but found nothing. She sighed and felt rather depressed when a flickering light caught her eyes. She bent down, to her delight it was the very same key, Must be my lucky day.

Moments later she went back front and saw Langford happily swinging his legs with Toji right at his side. "Here as promised." She said while she puts the bottle on top of the table and headed upstairs. "Listen I'am going to take a shower, so no fighting and Toji you're not allowed to drink any alcoholic liquid understand." as she vanished upstairs.

Langford watched the bottle of beer appear in front of him and then raised an eyebrow about there being a shower. He shrugged though imagined Vivi completely naked and grinned. His imagination was going a little wild after imagining her naked body before he snapped out of his imagination and quietly chuckled. "As if that would happen." He quietly mumbled underneath his breath before his attention returned back to the beer and reality.

He prepared himself a glass and then drank it. This...this is great! She definitely knows her liquor. He tried to prepare himself another as his face started to flush with a red tint. Despite being a drinker, the change in his body and weight definitely affecting him, making it require a significantly less amount of alcohol to make him drunk. He quietly giggled and as he tried to prepare himself another glass but, was having a little difficulty doing so.

He was thinking of root beer as he heard the words "no alcholic drinks.." "W-what!? But root beer isn't alchoholic! And besides,what about him?!" He made wild pointing motions at Langford. "He may be 20 or so, but he's in the body of a 10-yr old!!!" But she was already upstairs. "Aaah man..... No fair!" he sat down gloomily, and played around with a small lightning ball he made.

"Ah shhhhut up..." Langford said. "Obvioushly root beer isn't alcoholic..." He quietly hiccuped in mid sentence and doubted if a bar had root beer of any sort. In a quick motion, he downed what he had in his glass and hopped off from the stool. But, he lost his balance and slowly stood back up onto his feet. It was a struggle to get behind the bar and he started his search for the root beer to keep the brat's spirit up. He was looking through the drinks and it was alcohol, alcohol, alcohol and root beer. He didn't notice it till he started at it for a good minute and placed it on the counter with a thud. "There'sh your root beer...brat."

"I'm gonna check up on Vivi." He said before walking up the stairs, swaying side to side and his hand grabbing onto the railing so that he wouldn't fall down the stairs. The entire trip up the stairs had felt like an eternity as he was swaying left the right on the stairs and lost his balance multiple times despite holding onto the railing. Once he had got up the stairs, he walked down the hall, searching for Vivi.

Toji drunk entire bottle of root beer in at least three gulps.He got bored with the ball of lighting,and tossed it up in the air,where it dissapated. He then got up,and went exploring around the bar.He walked around in the varouis rooms on the first floor. He was about to call it quits when he saw a secret door in a wall. "Wow, a secret door! Why didn't I spot that earlier?? Oh well, might as well see whats inside!" he knocked on the door a few times, and figured out how to open it. He eyed the center of the door,and punched it sharpy.Th dorr slid back,opened by a hit that ussualy only a sledgehammer could make. "Hiyaa! Take that!" Toji grinned, and went inside. Inside was a treasure beyond his wildest dreams........
"R-root beer!?".he roared happily. 'I-its so beutifual......" In front of him stood a stack of crates that were filled with nothin' but rootbeer, as wide as a wall and as high as a person.He grabbed a bottle from one of the crates, and started chugging."Burrp! That was great! I wonder what brand it is?" Toji looked on the bottle and found a warning label.

Warning: This drink contains Dream Mushrooms, and will cause extreme silliness/ridiculness in the person who drinks it.


His eyes widened. "Aaaah no........"a trace of an accent that sounded like a irish brogue with a musical quality to it slipped into his voice.

The second floor wasn’t as large as she had expected from past experience, it had only one aisle which stretches from both ends. From the corner, she saw an opened door conveniently waiting to be used, inside was a made bed and a bath tub filled with hot water, as light steams surrounded the atmosphere. She willingly went inside, took of her clothing’s and jumped inside the tub, all excited, not noticing little Langford was on the second floor as well. She began to whistle a soft melody, something her mother would sing to her before she went to bed.

She closed her eyes and slowly fell into a deep slumber with the same melody, this time it was played by a regiment of strings; carrying her to place she had never been to. It was snowing and all she could she see were the pure white snow, the black skies and an armoured statue of some sort like a giant in the middle of arctic.

“What happened, Vivi, you’ve changed so much I hardly recognize you anymore.” Said an unfamiliar yet familiar voice. The strangely familiar tone it had was something that brought her to tears and the warm feeling of longing. Langford.... wait no it isn’t its someone else but who...... She pondered upon the voice, trying figure who it belongs and to her to surprise the armoured statue had took the form of a man. He had the whitest skin and hair she would only see in dreams. His entire attire matched the snow which made him hard to see. As he reaches for her, the dream faded, bringing her back to the harsh cold reality.

A sound was piquing Langford's interest, it was a whistling noise. He slowly went towards it as if it was calling to him like a moth is to a flame. Within a few minutes of walking into walls, falling over face first onto the floor and walking like a penguin...he finally made it to where the noise was coming from. A door was blocking his way and his hand went for the knob, but, it felt so distant, so strange. He was struggling to open the door for a good minute before successfully turning the knob and pushing the door with his shoulder. But it was a little too much force as he ended up falling onto the floor with a quiet groan.

There was steam in the room and it felt like he was in a sauna in the room. The heat was getting to him as it was making him sleepy and could almost fall asleep on the spot. He slowly pushed himself up onto his feet and looked around. "Vivi?" There was Vivi in the bathtub and his face was as red as a tomato, his thinking not exactly in the right place. His feet went towards her, before he just collapsed face first onto the floor, falling fast asleep.

When her eyes opened all she could see were the hot steams coming from the bath, as she slowly went outside but saw an oddly misplaced figure on the ground, squinting for a better look and saw Langford fast asleep. She wasn’t surprised by this since she must had fallen asleep longer then she had thought. She bent down and carried him, as she headed for the bed. Her lips reaches for him gently kissing him on the forehead like a mother would before sending their children off to sleep and slowly putting him to bed.

Later she went outside fully dressed, this time wearing her own jacket and neatly folded witch hunters jacket in her bag. Let’s see how Toji’s doing and went downstairs. Nothing significant had change downstairs yet saw no Toji. No wonder it was quite.... She began to look around, soon she came before an open door, seeing Toji fast asleep as well on the floor.

Toji groaned,waking up.as he sat up,the empty dream mushroom root beer bottle rolled to the feet of vivi. He held his hands to his head. "Urg, stupid Dream Mushrooms....I got a killer headache from that tricky drink..." he noticed Vivi standing in the doorway then.he looked back and forth to her and the stack of bottle crates. He started waving his hands in a panicked way."aagh,vivi!this isn't wat it looks likehonEst!"

She quietly sighed inside and faceplams , “You drink it didn’t you..... not that I’m disappointed and all, I’m just not sure whether I should complement you’re first drinking experience or I should be furious about disobeying my orders.” She said as she scanned the crates around him. Good thing there wasn’t any poison in them .

“Anyway got any ideas where we’re going to go next.”

"Aagh,I wouldn't really call it my first drinking experience,it's just root beer with Dream Mushrooms added...." Hiro snickered. "Y-you shut up! Anyway...." he flipped up onto his feet." I figured we could head back to my village. I ain't been there for five years,wat u think?"

"I've stayed here for far too long, alright then but we'll need to wait for Langford." She headed back upstairs, entered the same room and saw Langford still asleep. She packed everything she had carried from her recent travels as silently as the wind, trying her hardest not to disturb his deep slumber. That's everything I suppose.

Oh k,that's a good idea,we all need sleep." he walked out of the room and found a couch. Wrapping his cloak about himself,he yawned once and fell asleep.Hiro looked at Toji tenderly. "Heh,have a good rest kiddo.you've earned it."he ruffled his sea blue hair with his paw,electritcity crackling through the pointy spikes that poked up.he then lay down,standing gaurd over his young master.

It was cool instead of the steamy heated sauna feeling that Langford felt a few minutes ago. He was slowly tossing and turning in his sleep as he was uncomfortable in the bed. The change in temperature caused him to slowly opened his eye and looked around, it was a different environment then before. He remembered that he was in the bathroom and saw a naked Vivi. He slowly sat up still under the effects of alcohol, it was probably going to be another day till he was out of the effects, though the next morning might not be so pleasant.

Vivi was in his eyes and he stepped closer to her, his arms wrapped around her. "Vivi..." He whispered as he peeked up towards her. "I love you..." He added on with a quiet hiccup and a smile on his face as he nuzzled against her legs and his hug became tighter.

Vivi had somehow managed to fully occupy herself while waiting for Langford to wake though she hadn't realized that he had already woken. She felt Langford's hand all over her and heard a soft "I love you" from down below. She couldn't help but feel touched like when mother hears the first word from their beloved child. She hugged him back and whispered soft enough that only he could hear, "I love you too." She added with a smile on her face, "Get back to sleep, you'll need all the sleep you can get since it'll be a long day tomorrow." as she sent him off to sleep.

"E-eh? Where are we - " Langford tried to say before a yawn interrupted him. This new body of his was definitely different then what he was used to, it got tired more easily. He released his grip around Vivi's legs and simple followed her orders, her voice had this odd melodic feeling. It felt very nice and soothing with very persuasive properties His head hit the pillow like a rock and then almost instantaneously fell asleep. The comfort of the pillow, mattress and the bed sheets were very comforting, just making him want to take his rest for the next day. Before long, his eyes closed as sleep took over him.

He was back in his village,in the training grounds. "yayyayaya!"he shouted,landing a flurry of deadly chops to the neck,knees,and shoulders of a dummy with his hands. "Haha,good job,brother!You have fast hands as usual." A young man,dressed in traditonal Assassin clothing, apraoched. Toji grinned."Thanks bro,bu ur the best still!"Now, let me see if you can dodge a killing blow..""Huh,bro....?" Toji's brother suddenly slahed with his hand,a wave of darkness broiling toward Toji. He dodged."Huh, what are u doing,brother!?""Who ever said i was ur brother.."The thing pulled down it's hood.Revealed was a face in shadow, all showing red glowing eyes and an overlarge smile lined with razorsharp teeth.Toji,frightened,pushed his fist fpward teh monster."Yaaaagh!"A stream of lighting shot toward the thing and....hit the nearby wall. Toji, woke up by his own scream,stared at the charred spot, his fist still crackling. he felt tears coming to his eyes as he remembered what happened at THAT day.He ran to the bathroom, and collapsed in front of the sink,crying and sobbing. He tried stammering a prayer. "Dear a-ancestors, mighty gaurdians of my p-past and f-future, I-i am l-lost, m-my soul is torn....." But it didn't work, he started crying again.

The moon and stars were dancing in her eyes, tempting anyone who saw them to go out and about the streets, enjoying the possible festivals ahead, the night had brought them. Yet there only replies were the wailing sounds of sadness for their lost ones.

Vivi was in the middle of putting the final touches on her drawing of Langford when she heard waves of sobbing from downstairs. Toji... was the only one who popped into her mind, his husky voice was something one could easily remember. She fixed her gears and quickly raced at him. She found him in one of the bathroom crying his tears out. She slowly went inside and pats him on the back. She only knew him for a few hours and was lost in words, even if she had done something it would only be meaningless.

“It was only a dream and it will remain a dream if you think so.” Minutes passed since, realizing she had no idea what she had said. “I’ am pretty bad at this aren’t I?” She said with small happy smile on her face.

He heard Vivi's voice, and felt her hand on his back. Cram, this is so embarrassing!, he thought. He pulled up his hood suddenly,shading all but his eyes and and lower face.He turned around, a fixed shakey grin on his face. "Nah,it's all cool! I was just remembering why I'm on the road alone,ecept for hiro, that's all!',he exclaimed, a thumb up. But his eyes were still green with sadness,instead of the usual cheery blue.He wiped his face with the back of his hand, and rubbed the back of his head, chuckling sheepishly. "Heh, sorry for if I disturbed ya!"

"No not at all, I was just looking for someone who would like to accompany me to the train station." She said, trying to change the subject. She wasn't sure if she could leave Langford or Toji in a place like this all alone yet remembering that both of them were stronger than herself. Guess it'll be alright for now.

"Anyway want to come." She reached her right hands at him, offering him to go with her.

Toki grinned, his eyes fully blue now."Yah,why not? I might as well. I'm not going back to bed after that nightmare." He went to the couch and picked up Kiruska,sheathing it with a flourish. "Hiro, I want you to stay here and guard mini Langford,k? Tear apart anyone who who intends to harm him. And I do mean tear apart." Hiro looked his master,somewhat disturbed. Toji had never given him killing orders before. "Sir, are you alright? You've never given me these sort of orders before." "Nah,it's all good. I just figure anyone who would deliberlity hurt a 10-yr old kid deserves it. Well,I'm off." He looked at Vivi. "You ready?"

Vivi knew Toji would come along regardless of her answer. She had already raced ahead and had passed by a couple of blocks. The streets were empty and it became her own playground where she could anything she wanted without the slightest care in the world. However this excitement won’t last and would soon vanish once she reaches the station.

The cold night breeze gently pressed her skin as she ran down the streets. Her hair nimbly danced with the wind like a single piece of loosed cloth trying to follow her movements. At that precise moment the streets were empty, no one was around but a single woman who strikingly looked the same as her. From head to toe were identical matches, even the clothing were the same yet this women had bigger breast, about D.

Immediately stopping in her tracks and began to gaze at her. Vivi in awe found it very weird to have someone else look the same as her but with bigger breast, looking down at her own and took one deep breath. Damn, I thought mine were big. Well at least mine doesn’t make me look like a whore. as she watched her even closer than before. She noticed something else which took her by surprise, she wore a hat unlike the normal ones that she saw at a second rate store. Its design were unique, the ruffles itself looked like it was made on purpose.

Unknowingly Vivi’s hands had moved on their own and were now roughly touching her hat. Her twin didn’t seem to mind and began to give her a bear hug. There breast squeezed together so tightly that Vivi almost fainted. “You know its rude for another witch to touch another witch’s hat.” She said with a seductive voice. Her words had some kind of sexual pleasure in them as Vivi’s cheeks turned red as a beat.

“Umm.... you know, you actually have quite the luggage here.” She said as she took a step back and her hat back in her arms. With a whirl both of them vanished into thin air leaving only a piece of paper and two coins attached to it. Written on it was a single line, "Non-magic allowed”.

Toji was getting ready to leave when Vivi suddenly went on ahead."Hey,Vivi, wait up! You don't just run into who knows what!" he turned to Hiro. "Give me a full charge!" Hiro glanced at his young master."but, Toji,it'll sting.And, wha with you being a small runt, it'll hurt even more."J-just shut up and do it already!" Hiro shrugged,his tail crackling with lightning. he suddenly touched it agist the place where toji's heart would be."Ya-ya-yaaaaagh!" His body as energy went into him.He was on one knee when it was over.

Toji held up a thumb. "Hahaha,thanks, old freind! I'm all powered up now!" Lighting crackled in his hair and in between his fingers as he stood up."Well,i best go see if Vivi is in need of help!" He ran out of the door with bullet speed, and followed Vivi, going to the train station. He got there,and nobody was there. He saw two coin's on teh ground,attached to a slip of paper."Huh,non-magic allowed. I wonder what that means......" he was gripping one of the coins. His eyes suddenly widened as he realized what it all meant. "Aaah man, it's a port-..." There was a sudden flash,and then there was nobody but a coin attached to a slip of paper.

A quiet groan emanated from the room that Langford slept in. He slowly opened his eyes to see everything was completely blurry and fuzzy. A quiet groan left his mouth as his hand covered his eyes from the harsh light in the room and he slowly sat up. His bones creeked with each passing second. He looked down at his body to see if it had changed overnight, hoping that it was merely a one day change. It didn't change back and was still the childish body. "Fuck." He mumbled underneath his breath as he slowly rubbed his eye and hopped off the bed with a grunt.

He looked around the find that no one was in the room. Where is everyone? Langford thought to himself as he slowly walked out of the room, occasionally staggering with every few steps and continued to look around the tavern. There was still no one in sight. "Brat...? Vivi...?" He yelled out through the empty building. His voice slightly echoed through the lonely hallway. "Where is everyone..." He mumbled to himself before sighing. Figures they left, I was out cold...but still. They could have taken me with them. He thought bitterly before leaving the tavern via a kick to the door. Too much time was spent there and he needed to gather his pay regardless of how he looked like. ...this is definitely going to be crappy... Langford thought.
