Nero's Techs

Name: Devil's Trick
Nero infuses mana into his feet. This allows him to move at high speed. The distance moved depends on how much mana he infuses, but there is a limit. The movement is so fast that the only thing seen is a blur. However, Nero is still developing this technique. To perform, it requires a surface to push off of. It is not perfect and has a few flaws. He also uses this technique in combination with some of his attacks.

Name: Unseen Slash
Using his advanced mana manipulation, Nero infuses his hands with mana, then draws, slashes and sheaths his sword in one motion. This movement is so fast that only the blur and a flash of light reflected by the blade can be seen. Some say that the wound is so small that it takes only a few seconds to open after the attack landed. This is only a myth, however.

Name: Killer Breeze
His hands infused with mana, Nero strikes the air. This makes an air wave which is meant to slice through anything. The opponents that are on the ground can see this wave coming because it cuts the ground as well. This technique, however, is far from perfect. A lot of times it results in a powerful gust that knocks people quite a distance back and possibly crumbles some buildings. This attack can be dangerous, because the chances of it being a cutting wind are fifty-fifty.

Name: Dark Slash
Nero infuses mana into his whole arm for this attack. This time it is not for speed, but for power. He pulls out his sword and ruthlessly strikes with all his might. This attack is slower, but much more powerful. It is said to be unstoppable and can smash through anything, even diamonds. This however is not proven, and Nero really isn't in a hurry to prove it.

Name: Thousand Slash
This attack is used in combination with Devil's Trick. Nero infuses both his arms and legs. As soon as he starts moving, he pulls out his sword and makes a large number of slashes all in front and around him. This attack is hard to avoid because it has a wide range around Nero. The attack is easer to dodge than to stop or block.

Name: Pin-point
Puling out his sword, Nero gathers mana into his feet, then performs Devil's Trick and thrusts the sword forward. He perfected the accuracy of this attack and can make it range from "close to death, but not hitting any vitals" to instant death. This is a very dangerous attack, but can be predicted.

Name: Ebon Shock
His sword still sheathed, Nero gathers mana into it after which he hits the ground in a sweeping motion, sending a shockwave forward. This attack takes time and is mainly used as a disorientating move, or to take down light structures and is not meant to severely damage the opponent.

Name: Ebon Impact
Gathering mana into the sheathed weapon as well as his arms, Nero smashes the ground under his feet, causing a tremendous shockwave around him. This takes a very long time to perform, and is used when fighting multiple enemies at once. Also can damage terrain around Nero, causing him a few advantages or disadvantages.

Name: Skull Smasher
A move that is used on those rare occasions on which there must be a fatal blow. Nero draws his sword and gathers mana into his arm, then performs Devil’s Trick, aiming to appear behind the target and a little bit in the air. This is when he performs an attack similar to Dark Slash aiming at the enemy’s head. This attack is amongst the deadliest.

Name: Hellfire Wave
Gathering mana into his sword, Nero throws it out in a powerful wave. This attack takes time and concentration to perform. Also the wave is unstable and explodes when hits an obstacle, which is preferably the target. It can explode any time before that however, even at the moment it is released. This attack really is a double edged sword and is still long before flawless, which is why it is used rarely.

A deadly fighting style that involves mana manipulation and mostly killing moves. Nero uses this style only when the target must be exterminated and if it is a strong opponent.



Name: Mana Razor
Nero embeds mana into the blade of the katana. This makes it a lot sharper, as well as toughening it up, making it a lot less prone to shattering. This gives new capabilities such as blocking very powerful attacks to some extent and slicing through harder materials, overall improving combat efficiency. When using the Mana Shredder style, Nero constantly applies Mana Razor, which can tire him out faster than a usual battle.

Name: Reaper’s Slash
A sweep rather than a slash, this move is aimed at the opponent’s waist and slashes them in half. This move is almost impossible to block, but can be dodged easily.

Name: Guillotine Blade
An execution move, which is performed mostly when the enemy is unable to fight back, if only for a bit. For this the enemy must be leaning forward or have his neck in a horizontal position (this is forced by Nero beforehand). Nero swiftly makes a descending slash that decapitates the enemy.

Name: Mana Razor times 2
Nero pours mana into the sheath, making it almost as efficient as the sword. Sometimes this is used for doubling attacks such as Hellfire Wave. This, however, requires more mana than the Mana Razor and therefore puts more strain on Nero, which is why this is used to mostly finish off the enemies quick.

Name: Demon Hunt
This execution move is used while Nero applies Mana Razor Times 2 and is a finishing move performed when the enemy is unable to fight. Nero forces them on their knees and then swings both his sword and sheath at the enemies neck, decapitating them.

A style in which Nero is moving extremely fast. This is because he is almost constantly using Devil’s Trick to confuse the enemy and also surround them, rendering them unable to change location, at least in theory. This style is quite deadly but killing is not the only purpose of this style. However Nero does not use it very often because it can tire him rather quickly. It is sufficient for chasing after escaping targets

Name: Nitro
This is the move that Nero uses when he is in the air and has to move quickly. It serves as a substitute to Devil’s Trick. Concentrating mana into his feet, he then blasts it out at near jet engine velocity. This however puts more strain on Nero, which is why he rarely takes to the skies.

Name: Sheathed Guillotine
During all the fast movement, Nero unsheathes one third of his sword and hits the opponent. This attack is not necessarily fatal, for it is not always aimed at the neck, but can be aimed at limbs too.

Name: Highway Star
A technique where Nero starts going in circles around the enemy. Then at some point he goes toward them and slashes at their torso. He performs this attack five times, leaving a star shaped wound at their chest, back or sides. The deadliness of this move is determined by how deep he strikes. Mostly, this is a disorientating or a non-killing finishing move.

Last resort move for Nero. He has only used this move once and is not in a hurry to use it again. He goes into a trance where he succumbs to his instincts and anger, after which he goes insane on the battlefield, putting his enemies, friends and even himself in danger. For this he must be sure there are no friends around otherwise he will not resort to it, even if it means his certain death.

Name: Overload
Nero continuously pours mana into his body, so much that an aura appears around him. During this he can use any move he knows almost instantly and can use both Mana Shredder style and Speed Demon style simultaneously. In addition he not only uses his sword and sheath, but knees, legs, fists and elbows to attack. Because his whole body is overflowing with mana, he can use those body parts to deal great damage, but this damages them as well. This whole process puts great strain on Nero’s body, which limits the use of this move. When the limit is reached, Nero looses consciousness and has a high chance of death.

Name: SCREAM!!!
Nero screams his lungs out, which is also infused by mana and is so loud that it sends out a sonic wave. This is meant to scare the enemies and deafen those who are near him. This can severely damage his vocal chords.

Name: Blind Destruction
The main reason why Nero is dangerous to his friends. When he enters the Darkness Within state, he finds a target, which is usually the first thing he sees move. At this point he is so focused on it that he will destroy everything in his way and stop at nothing until he carves it up beyond recognition. This is why he refrains from going into this state

A style in which Nero uses his firearms. He can also use it in combination with his sword skills.

Name: Rapid fire
Nero has rather strong arms and hands, which allow him to fire continuously with guns as powerful as Desert Eagles without disrupting his accuracy much.

Name: Gun Pin-point
A move Identical to the Pin-Point attack except for one thing and that is that the gun is used instead of a sword. Nero puches the gun into a point of the opponent's body, hurting them a little and then pulls the trigger.

Name: Hellfire Barrage
Charging Mana into the guns, Nero shoots repeatedly. The mana greatly increases the damage done by the bullets, but also increases the recoil, hence reducing the accuracy.

Name: Hellfire Snipe
Nero uses only one gun for this attack. He charges a lot of mana into the gun, aims and fires at the enemy. The bullet travels at incredible velocity, almost like a railgun projectile and pierces through almost anything. When it hits a hard surface, it explodes with a mana explosion. The recoil from this shot is so great, it almost knocks the gun out of Nero's hands.
