Falling with style

Flying high in the sky bursting through clouds, Vorst looks then up again, wondering when it's gonna stop. He stops and stare's at the beautiful moon. It reminded him how his mother used to tell him bedtime stories.
"When will this end, but then again it's not a complete waste of time." Vorst started to look down, wind was rushing through as he knew that the ride had finally ended. Vorst closed his eyes hoping that he would somehow crash into a soft bed, but what are the chances of that.
"Think, how do I land nice and soft." He grabs his dagger looking around, hoping to find something he could cling to but then again he was still 200 meter in the sky. The girl who sent him flying was actually pretty, she even had alot of extras with her. There wasn't any reason for her to this yet why?
(landing on her would probably be a nice experience but I'am not sure my body can take this)
This time with more focus he somehow manages to find a chimney sticking out high enough. Preparing himself for the imapct, stabbing the chimney wich slowed him down.
It wasn't a perfect landing but he landed safetly on a rooftop.

"Where in the world am I?" rubbing his head for an answer.

Walking through the residential area admiring the buildings and architecture. Multiple styles and beautiful designs.

"Hmm...there are some nice buildings, I wonder if I can buy a house in this area...but I'm broke...more broke then my dead brother and he was BROKE..

The sound of bricks and scraping alert him and immediately aims his desert eagle towards the rooftop. "Who's there?" He loads his gun and cocks it while keeping it aimed on the rooftops.

Someone was calling him from below but he couldn't see who it was.
" I wonder if those bricks actually hit someone or the guy who owns the place, I guess I should apologize.

Slowly taking his first step, more bricks continue to fall. Something was in his nose, he tried to hold it but utterly failed. Vorst began coughing which made lose his balance and tripped over a brick. This time it was a hard fall to the ground just before he landed, someone was pointing a gun at him a very good one too.

A loud thud is heard which takes Arkrius by surprise, as he at looks the young man dressed in a leather jacket with a brown bag, black pants and brown leather shoes. Arkrius continues to eye him suspiciously and shrugs. He places a cigarette in his mouth and reaches into trench coat and takes out an odd looking piece of equipment, a tube of some kind and attaches it to his gun. He removes the magazine and places another in it's place. Fire appears from his gun as he lights his cigarette.

"What the 'ell are you doin' up there? Figured you were some type of thief or something like that. Either way, name's Arkrius Wallace, nice to meet ya."

He puff some smoke rings into the air and extends a hand out while scratching his eye patch.

Struggling to get up since it was surprising that the gun was actually a lighter. Vorst stared at him, the uniform was nice, still pretty clean. He starts cleaning his clothes with a smile offering a handshake.

"Well I was kicked about 250 meters in the air by a girl, and no I'am not a theif. Vorst the name but you can call me Reich."

His eyes became teary as the smokes hit right in the eyes.

"Wait...kicked...250...metres into the air? Bloody 'ell...oh, sorry lad, didn't realize smoke made ya teary eyed."

Arkrius puts out the cigarette and tosses it aside. He shakes his hand with a firm grip and slightly smiles.

"Nice ta meet cha, Vorst."

He replaces the magazine lighter with a real magazine and a few bullets fall on the ground. "Sent bloody soaring into tha air...250 metres by a lass, damn. Must be one strong lass, or he's damn weak...or combination of both. Either way..."

"Who would be this lassie who sent ya airborne?"

"A girl with only a towel on which covered her hair and her body was completely visible, she was probably just out of the shower and wasn't expecting me I guess."

" Well she did have some mana on her kick, probably a witch, nah... "

He just stares at the gun with very curious face. His left hand holding a dagger which he kept hidden, readying himself for type of suprises.

"Hmm...well, that would probably explain why'd ya got kicked mate..."

"But I doubt 250 metres in the air...probably mana in the kick...mostly likely witch...possibly...maybe...

Arkrius notices Vorst staring at his gun. "Ah, y'interested in this 'ere beauty eh? Hand-crafted myself. Anyways..."
He tries to think of something to say, but cannot think of anything else to talk about, but ends up yawn quite loud.
"Sorry 'bout that."
"He seems to be rather interested in my gun...
Arkrius absentmindedly puts another cigarette and tries to light it but instead fires a bullet, tearing most of the cigarette and creates a loud noise which echos throughout the town.

"Sorry it's just that your gun umm..... where did you get it form, tell where did you get it from!"
Grabs Arkirus in the collar, looking him right in the eyes as they turned bloody red, Vorst dagger pointed towards Arkrius's neck .

His mind clouded with revenge, but he notice that something was wrong with him.

Arkrius is surprised as Vorst grabs him by the collar and immediately aims his gun towards Vorsts' head.

"Oh, blood red eyes now and threatening. Classy."

He reaches into his trench coat and pulls out an identical gun and keeps both guns pointed at his head. "I knew there had to be something weird about this guy...randomly on a rooftop of a building..."

"Now, I made these guns and all of their attachments and whatnot, now, let me go before you'll be missing a foot, an arm, and your leg."

Slowly let's go of Arkirus collar and dropping the dagger, Vorst facing the ground wishing he hadn't snap. With a quite cling it landed so did his tears.

"Sorry about that it's.... ju...st... so..meo..ne killed h...er." wiping his face ot get a hold on his self.
"Ahh... I really needed that thanks, why I did that to you was because the guy who killed her had the same gun as yours."

Still staring at it, he also notice that people didn't saw Arkrius holding two guns but people were staring at him. He tried to call one over but they ran at the sight of him.

" Why didn't they notice him but why only"

"Looks like we attracted quite the crowd. Anyways...hmm...well I do make multiple versions of my desert eagle. We'll talk about it later, let's get you outta here." He notices the crowd, surprisingly, they didn't notice him.

Arkrius fires a shot towards the crowd's feet. "Get outta here, scram, nothing to watch, move it, if you want to live, scram!"

"What did I just get myself into...I am probably going to regret it very SOON...

"Let's get going to the old bridge, should be near by."

Arkrius grabs Vorsts' hand and tries to drag him towards the old bridge.

Arkrius looks around as if he's lost and keeps walking around until an old bridge is found.

"Well, this should be away from the residential area. Now...anyways...this should be far away...or at least far enough from the commotion I made...or we made I should say."

Arkrius takes out a cigarette and takes out a normal lighter and lights it. Puffing smoke and yawning.

Vorst stared in awe, the old birdge seemed to bring back old memories. Rustles of leaves where heard from the top of the brigde which surprised him, he grabed his dagger holding it steady. A black cat gently came walking, greeted the both of them with a pleaseant meow. Vorst gently patted it as it started to pur, it was obviously pleased, both of them continued to play.

" I guess we're safe, wonder where this cat was headed to"

"Arkrius, so about your gun".

Arkrius looks up towards Vorst and lets out a puff of smoke.

"Well, I made this desert eagle, as I've told you. You've seen that I can use it as a lighter, but it has many other features, gadgets and other thought I've put into this gun. I've sold a few to people, and...that's basically it. I've sold one to my brother, who's dead, a couple of friends who like the design and could have used it for self-defense, but other than that, no one else should have come into contact with my personal gun. Unless if the people who bought them died. Other than my brothers' version, but I have it, I used it in my left hand as you grabbed my collar."

Arkrius empties the desert eagles and places the magazines in his trench coat.

Vorst stood there without a word, he just asked something he wanted to avoid. He looked Arkrius right in the eye, mumbled some words hoping it didn't offend him. The cat was fast asleep, wraped tightly in his arms.

"Sorry about your brother... I didn't mean to. Um... moving on why does your uniform make you invisible from ordinary human, not just that but what time are we in?"

Arkrius shrugs.

"No clue mate, just a regular human myself. Except dressed in all black, perhaps I just blend in at night. Uh, time? Uh....hmm...uh...I have no clue myself. I usually don't keep of time."

Arkrius throws the cigarette bud away and lights a new one. He takes his hat off his head and yawns, exposing his hair, which is standing straight up and messily kept.

"Time...what...are we in? That makes it sound like he's back or forward in time, unless if I'm wrong...

He looks over the bridge and watches over the bridge, absent-mindedly puffing away smoke rings.

He didn't get the answer he wanted but still something was there, Vorst felt even the cat who was sleeping wake up again knew that something was about to happen. He laughed at the sight of Arkrius's hair, people who was minding they're own bussiness stared at him.

" They might think I'am crazy but then again the hair hahahaha.... better stop laughing."

" Really love the hair style brings out the charm in you." His face beet red, and his cheeks were puffing up as tried to control most of the laughter.

"Cheeky bastard." Arkrius slightly smiles at the comment and places his hat back on. "My hair, quite unique in style. Nah, just my hat makes it look like that. Ya look red, probably from trying not to laugh from the hair, laugh if ya want."

Arkrius continues smoking and takes off his eye patch to rub his eye.

It was getting late, Vorst that the brothel is probably one of the best to get some information. The later it was the better the news. He started walking towards the brothel where he had no idea how to get there. Turning back to Arkrius.

"Hey Arkrius wanna go for some drink, since it seems you look sleepy and you should probably stop smoking since it seems to be getting in your eyes."

With a loud laugh he begans to walk again.

"As long as there's ale there...and I like to smoke. Oi! Wait up!"

Arkrius runs after Vorst while putting on his eyepatch.

"Hmm...damn...didn't expect him to laugh. Whatever."

It was a quite walk here since their was nothing else to be said. Vorst did enjoy having Arkrius as company but the silence was bothering him.

The brothel was full of people, drinking, smoking, and even fighting over some girls. It was very different then what he imagined. Jugs of beer were flying out of the front, a glass of milk was heading towards him. Vorst grabbed easily, and was happy that he got a free drink.

" So this is what a brothel, mom said it was place full of evil but it looks like so much fun."

"Umm.. Arkirus why don't you be gentleman and go in first." Pointing the way in.

"Never thought I'd be going to a brothel with someone who looks younger then me...well, fine."

Arkrius casually walks in through the door and sits by the barkeep and steals one of the mugs of beer and drinks it down.

"Hmm...not bad.

Arkrius continues to smoke on his third cigarette and drink.

"Wait a minute, why the hell are we going into a brothel, for drinks and all? There has to be something else..."

Casually following Arkrius but was caught by the guards, they grabed right from behind and pulled him out, Vorst stared as he saw that the guard was actually a golem that looked more human then stone. It's fist curled up readying for punch or two if he needed them.

"Hey kid, only those who are alot older can enter. Didin't your mommy ever thought you that."
"Well of course she did, what can of mother wouldn't. But didn't your mother ever taught to treat other people nicely."
"Kid if had I wouldn't even be here, now scram!"
"What!!! I'am 16 and I can't go in, what's wrong with this place."
"16 eh... you don't look 16 in my eyes, go home kid before I knock it to you."

Vorst wanted to fight but he knew that it would only cause more commotion, slowly walking out as he looked for another way in.

Arkrius looks around the brothel for Vorst.

"Wasn't he just behind me? Must have been caught by the guards.

Arkrius quietly mumbles towards the barkeep and engages in conversation with him.

"Jorn, never thought you'd be here."
"Neither did I Arkrius."
"What the 'ell are you doing in this shit-hole brothel?"
"Making money, unlike you, you poor bastard"
"You bastard."

Arkrius and Jorn laugh.

"Have you seen a kid who looks younger than me around?"
"Nope."

"Hmm...might as well look outside."

"Jorn, I'll be back in a couple of minutes, keep this seat for me, unless if it's a kid younger than me.
"...okay...?"

Arkrius steps outside and looks around the entrance.

"Where the hell could that kid go?"
